From 21 to 25 October 2018 Shanyrak ” Atameken” of Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz took part in the research expedition “Tugan elge tagzym”.

Within the framework of the project, the expedition group of 12 delegates selected for educational, creative, sports and scientific achievements went to explore the city of Kostanay and the attractions of the region.

Their journey, the children begin with the Historical Museum of the city, where he became acquainted with the activities of Ahmet Beremzhanov, Deputy of the State Duma of the I and II convocation of Turgay region. They also had the opportunity to learn a lot about the life of their compatriot Abulkhair Khan.

The next point of the expedition was the Park “Zhenis”, where children paid tribute to the fallen wars during the Great Patriotic War.  Special impression on the students in the Park made military equipment, which was used during the war.

From the historical monuments of Kostanay region children visited the memorial Complex of Y.Altynsarin, learned many interesting facts from the life of an outstanding educator. In the complex, students were able to study the map of schools opened by Ybray Altynsarin in Kostanay region. The architectural monument “Conquerors of virgin lands”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of virgin lands development, aroused great interest among young researchers.

In the city of Rudnyi expedition members met with the team of the country’s largest mining and processing enterprise “Sokolov-Sarybay” and studied the process of production of iron ore pellets.

The most exciting, according to the students, was a trip to the stud farm “Kazakh tulpary”, which is engaged in breeding horses Kostanay breed. Vitalyi Gofman-Deputy Director of the stud farm told the children about the upcoming joint plans with the” Lugovsky stud ” of Zhambyl region for breeding rare breed horses.

The next in the list of industrial enterprises was the joint-Stock company “Kostanay flour mill”, which is a leader in the production of flour and pasta in Kazakhstan and even one of the five largest pasta producers in the CIS. The guys witnessed the process of pasta production and sending to the warehouse storage of ready products.

Pupils were able to fully see the natural resources of Kostanay region in Naurzum state nature reserve, located in Naurzum and Auliekol districts of Kostanay region. Maria Zelentsova, who has been working here for more than 40 years, told about the peculiarities of the region and the activities of the reserve. The tour continued with a meeting with the local foresters.

– We are closer acquainted with the work of the foresters. They told us interesting moments from the life of the forest. I was very surprised by the fact that the wolves that live there, do not touch the foresters. On the contrary, they help to protect the reserve, – shared Ayazhan Kemelbek, a student of the 9th grade of the Intellectual school of Taraz.

The final point of the trip was the Hippodrome “Argymak” in the village of Zarechnyi, where each code hosts competitions in several types of baiga, kokpar, audaryspak and demonstrations in kyz kuu, tenge ilu and zhamby atu. Local athletes showed the guests the national game-Kyz kuu.

Skilled guys of Kostanay Intellectual school gave their friends a souvenir of handmade torsyk-a traditional Kazakh vessel designed for storing liquids, which symbolizes the food and abundance. Also specially for visitors students organized entertainment program, which includes different cognitive-intellectual game “Kostanay kartasy”, “Fotozhoryk”, etc.

On the final day of the expedition, the teacher-organizer-curator of the Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Taraz Nurbol Amanbekov in gratitude to Kostanay school dedicated poems of his own composition.
