Three students of the Intellectual school in Taraz – Sanzhar Almasbekov, Beknur Yeszhanov and Murat Toishybayev took third place in the team standings in the VI Republican complex Olympiad “Sardar”.
Within two days more than 60 children of the Republican schools “Zhas Ulan”, specialized schools for gifted children, lyceums, secondary schools from all cities of Kazakhstan competed in theoretical and practical knowledge.
Participants of the Olympiad fulfilled the standards for initial military training and physical culture: single combat training, incomplete disassembly and assembly of the AK-74, cross 3000 m, running 100 m and pulling on the crossbar.
– Sardar is a great opportunity for young people who are planning to continue their studies in higher military educational institutions. The Olympiad gives students the opportunity to test not only their physical abilities, but also intellectual, – said the head of the team, the teacher of the initial military training Gani Adenov.
The Olympiad was organized by the Republican scientific and practical center “Daryn” of the MES together with the Department of personnel and military education of the Ministry of defense.
