Recently in Zhambyl oblast was held a competition to assemble robots among school students and college students. In the competition called the Jameco Robotics Challenge, 30 teams from all districts took part. From the Intellectual school of Taraz, 7 teams competed, 5 of which won the I, II and III places. The robots of our students were evaluated in 4 directions, as a result, all the stages of evaluation passed and they became the winners.

The following students of the school, headed by computer science teachers Akim Ansar and Yerkebek Bogdan, became the winners of the contest:

I place – Serikbay Abzal, Akhmetov Azamat, students of the 7th grade, in the category Line follower;

I place – Kuntu Dulat, Turgynov Beksultan, students of grade 11, in the category of Kegelring;

II place – Duisebay Yernar, Eskendir Adilet, students of the 11th grade, in the JRC Missions category;

III place – Seifullin Adilkhan, Azat Kazhymukhan, students of the 7th grade, in the Sumo nomination;

III place – Magzym Yermakhan, Raisov Beknur, students of the 11th grade, in the JRC Missions category.

The purpose of the competition organized by the Zhambyl College of Economics and Information Technologies was to identify the best participants interested in robotics and bring together the intellectual youth of the region.
