Students of the Intellectual school of Taraz spend their holidays with benefit. For the holiday of Nauryz, they initiated a remote competition “Kosh keldin, Nauryzym!”, in which they demonstrate their skills in singing, drawing, еxpress wishes for Nauryz, write essays that tell about Kazakh customs and traditions, conduct master classes in applied and culinary arts (cooking Nauryz kozhe, kurt, zhent, baursak), teach how to make beautiful braids.
Students take videos and photos of the work process, and then send them to the jury members’ e-mails. It is worth noting that parents are actively involved in the competition.
– This is a great opportunity to celebrate Nauryz without leaving home and it is useful to spend time with your child during the quarantine. Every year for the festive dastarkhan, my family and I prepare traditional Nauryz kozhe and bake baursaks. Why not capture the process on video and not compete, said the mother of eighth grader Dina Asrymbetova.
According to the Director of NIS Taraz Timur Nurkeshov, the school tries to keep in touch with children and parents during the holiday period.
– The purpose of this competition is aimed at interesting and useful organization of leisure time for schoolchildren and to unite students and parents, – he admitted.
