This time, junior students showed the greatest interest in the conference. And they talked about a wide variety of topics: the moral precepts of Abai, the systematic error of the survivor, the fear of choice.
In ten minutes of her speech, speaker Balzhan Serzhankyzy was able to briefly and clearly convey to the audience the basic moral values that are reflected in the works of Abai. She encouraged her peers to learn more about the ideas and thoughts of the outstanding philosopher and poet.
Speaking on the topic “Systematic error of a survivor”, a student of the 9th grade Beknur Ratbek gave an example from everyday life:
– We often hear that very successful people once dropped out of school. And we begin to think that this is their key to success. Unfortunately, we do not consider people who, in the same way, dropped out of university and remained unemployed. In this situation, very successful people like Steve Jobs or Bill Gates are the “surviving planes”. And based on their success, we draw a false conclusion.
“Fear of choice” is a topic that was presented by a student of the 9th grade Nazira Sabyraly. She believes that her choice should be taken without fear, calmly, patiently, correctly assessing the situation. – This is the only way to achieve a positive result, – she added.
