In Taraz, within the framework of the project “Қазақтың жүз күйі”, students of the Nazarbaev Intellectual school met with the famous kuyshi, composer Omirgali Ertuganov. At the round table “Күйшілік өнердегі халық даналығының дәстүрлі нышандары” gathered young dombrists of the school.
Omirgali Ertuganov is a dombra teacher in the Zhambyl Humanitarian College named after Abai, a music teacher, a musician-kuyshi. The author of three works included in the collection of cues “Қазақтың мың күйі”.
The meeting began with listening to the legend about kui and continued with “Alkissa” performed by the pupil of the 9th grade Aldiar Kuanysh. The guest of the school told in detail about the history of the appearance of the kui, about the technique and the manner of execution, nature and features.
The students asked questions about Kazakh art, spoke about the symbols of folk wisdom in the kui. The round table was completed by the quiz game “The amazing notes”.
