Hosted at NIS, the regional stage of the Olympiad was attended by students in grades 6-7 from 21 regions across the country and from major cities in neighboring
Kyrgyzstan. This Olympiad project was established in 2016-2017 as a commendable continuation of the esteemed mathematical traditions rooted in the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at KazNU, named after Al-Farabi.
In addition to high school students from the Zhambyl region, 123 students from educational centers BIL, Daryn, and SSHOD participated in the Olympiad. As a result, Arsen Konyrbaev and Shingaliuly Akadil secured 3rd place among intellectuals. Furthermore, Yeraly Nurislam from Gymnasium No. 45 was awarded 2nd place, while Erniyaz Dias from School No. 17 received a diploma and earned admission to the Republican Olympiad.
