The dance ensemble “Nur” of the Intellectual school of Taraz became the winner of the I degree in the VI international competition-festival of arts “Grand premium”, which was held on February 14-17, 2020 in Almaty.
The school team performed Kazakh folk dance on the stage and was awarded first place among more than 20 dance ensembles from Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Competition numbers in the field of choreographic art were evaluated by famous choreographers working at the best concert venues and art universities in the country. They paid special attention to technical training, compositional findings, and the artistry of the dancers.
– The best of the best participated in the competition. However, despite the exciting atmosphere and intense struggle, there was a friendly atmosphere behind the scenes. Experienced dancers supported young contestants, got acquainted, exchanged ideas and plans. It gave a good incentive to our girls to further conquer new choreographic heights, – said the head of the dance group Botagoz Meshcherskaya.
