School break is necessary for schoolchildren to rest between lessons. And so that the guys would not be bored and be able to spend this time with benefit, the chemistry chemists of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taraz city came up with an entertaining intellectual warm-up for them by organizing a corner of board games in chemistry.
Schoolchildren were happy to distribute chemical elements into groups with similar structure and properties of the atom, got acquainted with the chemical dishes available in the school’s laboratory, watched how the puzzles of flame colors of ions of different metals were put together. Together with funny cartoon characters, the guys studied the safety rules in the laboratory in Kazakh, Russian and English. Schoolchildren also had a lot of impressions after meeting an amazing doll, with which it was possible to study the location of practically all chemical elements in the human body.
– Board games – a great option for recreation and entertainment at the same time. What could be better to pass the time between lessons for the benefit of thinking, memory, research skills, which is very important for the qualitative assimilation of the school curriculum. Such a non-standard approach will help students fully concentrate on their studies and, of course, be interested in chemistry as a science, – say the organizers.
