Medical service

The work of the medical unit consists of:

1. The main task of the medical service is to assist schoolchildren in the organization of preventive, sanitary and hygienic, anti-epidemic regime, therapeutic measures aimed at improving the health of students.

2. Providing first aid and diagnostic care to students with the most common diseases, as well as injuries, poisoning and other urgent conditions.

3. Carrying out medical and preventive work, systematic monitoring of the health status of students, preventive examination (for the presence of pediculosis, dermatomycosis and scabies) as well as daily outpatient appointments, immunoprophylaxis and tuberculin diagnostics.

4. Conducting preventive examinations, distributing students according to health status (health groups), physical development groups, and dispensary supervision.

5. An algorithm has been developed for step-by-step action in case of health problems of a student by a medical worker and a teacher at night.

6. At night, medical care is provided by nurses with secondary medical education who have the appropriate certificate in the specialty with confirmation of the certificate every five years.

4. In case of symptoms of a viral infection, with an increase in high fever, the sick child is isolated in an isolation ward.

5. Before the arrival of the parents, the child is under the supervision of a medical professional.

6. An ambulance is called depending on the situation (according to the severity of the condition and the risk of infection of other children).

7. The school has a separate medical unit with the necessary equipment.

8. Upon check-in of students at the boarding school, a medical examination is performed by a nurse according to the established algorithm.

9. The medical staff of the school is guided by special prescribed instructions when providing assistance.

17. Representatives of regional medical centers and other medical organizations are invited to sanitization events.

18. A medical worker performs an examination and gives admission to students to participate in sports competitions and hiking trips.

19. Medical workers are on duty at all sports events, exams, intellectual competitions, and, if necessary, provide first aid.

20. In emergency situations, the medical worker performs manipulations in accordance with the established algorithms for providing first aid. There are equipped first aid kits for emergency care.

21. In emergency situations, an ambulance is called and, according to indications, hospitalized in medical institutions.
