SCHOOL MEALS
School meals at the NIS PhM in Uralsk are organized in accordance with the service agreement for providing and ensuring meals for students, as well as sanitary and epidemiological requirements for public catering facilities.
The meals in the school cafeteria are balanced, which is important for the students' health and intellectual potential. The school meal service is based on a four-week seasonal menu. For students living in the school's dormitory, five meals a day are provided, while local students receive three meals a day. Additionally, there is a buffet available in the cafeteria.
When creating the menu, students' opinions are considered through surveys and discussions with the school's dietitian. According to medical certificates, students with temporary dietary restrictions due to illness are provided with therapeutic meals.
To monitor the quality of services and compliance with sanitary requirements, the food service provider conducts production control twice a year in accordance with a contract with the "National Center of Expertise" in West Kazakhstan. Additionally, a tasting commission has been established at the school, which includes the school administration and members of the parent committee representing each grade level.
