THE MEDICAL SERVICE

The Medical Service is a structural subdivision of an Intellectual School that provides protection and strengthening of students’ health, including those living in a dormitory, and work organization on the development of a healthy lifestyle culture.

The medical unit has a state license No. 1400514 for providing consultative and diagnostic assistance to the children’s population in the following specialties: pediatrics, provision of pre–medical and primary healthcare.

The school has offices of:

– pediatrician

– treatment room

– nutrition nurse

– isolation room for 1 person

First aid classes are held periodically among employees and students.

The organization of meals for schoolchildren is monitored.

Sanitary and hygiene educational work is being carried out among schoolchildren, teachers and parents to prevent infectious diseases, injuries, myopia, etc.

Medical workers take an active part in curatorial hours, give lectures on relevant topics, participate in all health-improving activities of the school and dormitory.

To prevent the development of infectious diseases among schoolchildren, preventive and anti-epidemic measures are carried out: preventive vaccinations, timely accounting and isolation of patients, annual targeted prof. checkups for students.

Timely medical examinations of all school employees are monitored in accordance with the sanitary standards of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also timely disinfection, identification of the reason for non-attendance of schoolchildren.
