Admission to the Paid Education Program

Admission to the Paid Education Program at the branch of the Autonomous Educational Organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” “Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Science and Mathematics in Medeu District of Almaty” is based on the results of testing and an interview with the School Principal.

Test Subjects

• Grade 7: Mathematics, English;

• Grades 8-9: Mathematics, English, Physics;

• Grade 11: Mathematics, English, and two specialized subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science).

• Admission to Grade 10 is not available.

Application Period

Dates: August 13-14
Time: 09:00-16:00
Address: 145 Zhamakayev Street, Almaty.

Testing

Test date: August 18.

Tuition Fee

The annual tuition fee is 5,000,000 KZT.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit copies of the following documents:

• student's birth certificate;

• parent's or legal guardian's identification document;

• student's academic report card (including grades for all terms, signed by the school principal and stamped by the school).

Additional Information

• Sample test papers are not provided.

• The test is based on the national secondary school curriculum.

• Applicants must achieve at least 75% in each subject to qualify for admission.

Test Duration

• Grade 7: approximately 2 hours;

• Grades 8, 9 and 11: approximately 3 hours.
