INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARENTS Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology in Turkistan (from the Rules for the Organization of Dormitory Activities of “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”)

DEAR PARENTS!
We would like to inform you that applications for dormitory accommodation for the 2026–2027 academic year will be accepted electronically through the “Submission and Review of Dormitory Applications” service at https://otinish.nis.edu.kz during the following periods:
• Stage 1: June 1–12, 2026
• Stage 2: August 18–24, 2026
List of Required Documents (in accordance with Clause 20 of the Regulations)
When submitting an application, the student’s legal representative must attach electronic copies of the following documents:
A copy of the student’s birth certificate and a copy of the appendix to the birth certificate indicating the IIN.
A copy of the student’s ID card (if available).
Copies of the ID cards of the student’s legal representatives.
• For single-parent families: a death certificate of one parent, divorce documents, or other documents confirming single-parent family status.
Information from the e-government portal egov.kz showing the address registration details of the student’s legal representatives, including the mandatory registration date (screenshot).
• Important note! The place of residence of the legal representatives is recognized as the student’s place of residence.
• The registration period at the указан address must be at least the last 2 (two) years prior to the application submission date.
• Special case! In the event of relocation due to a job transfer or other family circumstances, the following documents must be provided:
– a copy of the employment order;
– a copy of the employment contract;
– information on pension contributions and fund movements from the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) for the last 6 months, issued in accordance with the law;
– a rental or purchase agreement, or other documents confirming the purchase of housing at the new place of residence.
If the legal representatives are registered at different addresses, the student’s place of residence is determined based on documents confirming attendance at an educational institution before admission to the Intellectual School (report card or academic transcript).
For orphans and children from orphanages — a document confirming their status (court decision, guardianship order from the education department, or guardianship certificate).
For persons with disabilities — a disability certificate for the student or parent (Groups I or II), as well as a certificate confirming receipt of the relevant social benefits.
For low-income families — a certificate confirming receipt of targeted social assistance (TSA). The certificate must be updated every six months and submitted to the school.
Commission Authorities
The Commission has the right to:
– verify and/or request additional documents confirming the actual residence of students and their legal representatives at the registered address;
– periodically verify the accuracy of the information provided by legal representatives and, if necessary, visit the registered address.
If false information is discovered, the School has the right to recover expenses for the actual period of residence in the dormitory.
Grounds for Application Rejection
The Admissions Commission may reject an application in the Service in the following cases:
– incomplete document package;
– illegible data in scanned documents (stamp, date, full names of the student and legal representatives);
– submitted documents do not correspond to the stated category.
If the application is rejected, the legal representative will receive a notification through the Service and may resubmit the application after correcting the noted issues. In this case, the registration date will be updated.
Following the review of applications, the Commission may make one of the following decisions:
Grant a dormitory place;
Include the applicant in the reserve list;
Refuse to provide a dormitory place.
The list of students granted dormitory accommodation for the 2026–2027 academic year will be published on the school website:
