At the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in the city of Turkestan, Geography Week was held at a high level. The main purpose of the event was to develop students’ global thinking, foster an understanding of sustainable development principles, and promote the values of global citizenship.

Throughout the week, educational platforms, interactive exhibitions, and project activities dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were organized. Students participated in the “Global Citizenship Promise Tree” activity, where they wrote their promises for the future and shared their thoughts on their personal contribution to the development of society.

In addition, students defended research projects about different countries of the world, presenting informative content about their culture, geographical features, and socio-economic development. Creative posters and presentations demonstrated a high level of preparation and strong research engagement among the students.

The week concluded with the intellectual game “Sayahat QUIZ.” During the competition, participants demonstrated their knowledge, teamwork skills, and interest in geography. The winners were awarded commemorative prizes.

Geography Week became not only an educational event but also an important platform for broadening students’ horizons and fostering a sense of global responsibility.
