🌱From Dream to Action
18 November 2025 12:03
The first day of the Open House Week featured a TEDx-style conference titled "From Dream to Action: Family on the Path to Success."
The main objective of the event was to strengthen the partnership between school and family, facilitate the exchange of experiences, and support students and parents in achieving common goals. A parent's faith gives a child wings, while the school's support provides guidance—together, they are reliable partners in a child's journey to success.
The conference featured a special guest, Daiana Besterekova, a 2020 graduate of NIS Taraz and a pride of Kazakhstan. Daiana's journey reflects the power of believing in one's dream and working tirelessly toward it. She graduated from Minerva University, one of the world's most innovative institutions, majoring in Computer Science and Politics. Today, Daiana works as a Software Engineer at Meta (Facebook) in San Francisco.
Students and parents actively participated in the conference, sharing inspiring ideas and discussing strategies for personal and academic growth.
