For the first time in history, Kazakhstani school students reached the finals of the international Diamond Challenge competition and represented our country at the Limitless Global Summit!
The project developed by our 11th-grade students — Aymer Koshmambetov, Yerasyl Zhumakadyrov, Aliyar Sagandykov, and Kudiret Akhmet — became the first Kazakhstani initiative to be included in the top 20 best social entrepreneurship projects among high school students worldwide.
The Diamond Challenge is one of the world’s largest high school entrepreneurship competitions, organized annually by the University of Delaware (USA), bringing together the most ambitious young innovators from around the globe.
The final event was held in Wilmington, Delaware, and gathered teams from 19 countries, including Japan, Thailand, Turkey, Guatemala, Korea, and others.
The students made it to the finals with their innovative device “ASAR,” designed to help people with disabilities use digital technologies. This is more than just a project — it is a step toward a more inclusive world.
Team member Yerasyl Zhumakadyrov was also named one of the top 25 young leaders by Limitless World Summit.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to you and your mentors!
