Planting the Seeds of a Greener Future

At our school, we recently marked Nauryz in a truly special way. In a collaborative event, students and parents joined forces to plant 20 fir tree seedlings. This act of nurturing nature not only beautifies our surroundings but also symbolizes the promise of growth and renewal—the very spirit of Nauryz.

A Tradition Rooted in Wisdom

Nauryz is more than just a celebration—it is a time to embrace nature and sow hope for tomorrow. As the old saying reminds us, the sapling planted today will grow into a leafy tree tomorrow, eventually forming a splendid forest. This vision is echoed in another cherished Kazakh proverb:

“A tree with spreading branches does not age, and a person who spreads knowledge never grows old.”
