In Astana, at the national mathematical competition "Graphicon", the "Tumar" team from Taraz Nazarbayev Intellectual School proudly secured 2nd place!

The competition aimed to explore the connection between mathematics and national culture, merging Kazakhstan’s rich heritage with scientific thinking. Participants studied traditional ornaments, the structure of the yurt, the geometric patterns, symmetry, and numerical principles, presenting their creative projects. 

More than 60 teams from all over Kazakhstan took part in the competition. After a rigorous selection process, the 16 best teams advanced to the finals. 

The victory of the "Tumar" team is an important step in promoting national values! Our students successfully showcased the harmony between science and art, proving the intersection of mathematics and culture through their unique project.
