Dessimination of experience

The Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (NIS) have become a crucial part of Kazakhstan's educational system, introducing innovative approaches and teaching methods.

In 2022, the social project of the ‘Kazakhstan Khalkyna’ Foundation and the Fund for Sustainable Development of Education ‘Development of the potential of reference schools in rural areas’ was launched. This is a partnership programme of the Fund for Sustainable Development of Education and Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools. The project is aimed at providing affordable quality education and reducing the gap in the quality of education between urban and rural areas in 17 regions of Kazakhstan. To date, the network of reference schools has reached 135 schools.

NIS Taldykorgan collaborates with 7 supporting schools in the Zhetisu region: MSI "Y. Sikimov Secondary School with a Boarding School" in Aksu District, MSI "Abai Gymnasium School" in Sarkand District, MSI "Shestakov Secondary School with a Preschool Mini-Center" in Eskeldy District, MSI"Kogaly Secondary School" in Kerbulak District, MSI "Secondary Boarding School № 6" in Panfilov District, MSI "Akhmet Baitursynuly Secondary School" in Alakol District, and MSI "Kadirgali Kosymuly Zhalairi Gymnasium School" in Koksu District.

Within the framework of experience transfer Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taldykorgan city for teachers of reference schools conducts city, regional training seminars and webinars, trainings, workshops, provides methodological support, mentoring of young specialists..

This year, a series of events is planned on topics such as: "Differentiated Approach in Teaching", "Formative Assessment", "Developing Functional Literacy", "AI", webinars on "Methods and Techniques for Developing Subject Skills", psychological support for students considering their individual needs, as well as training webinars conducted by foreign colleagues. Additionally, there are plans for lesson observations in pilot schools.

The sharing of experience from the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools to general education schools is a crucial step towards modernizing the educational process in Kazakhstan. The use of innovative methods, modern technologies, and the professional development of teachers will help to create a more effective and competitive education system. This process requires effort from all participants in the educational process, including government authorities, teachers and parents.

As a result, the successful integration of NIS's experience will contribute to preparing the future generation for the challenges of the 21st century.
