The future begins here!

Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Taldykorgan was founded on the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev and began its vitality in 2010.

Mission: Contribute to the development and well-being of intellectual and competitive people with high moral values, ready for life-long learning and changes in the global and digital world.

The school received a certificate of accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS) in 2018 and was successfully re-accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) in 2024, once again confirming the competitiveness of the education system in the world.

Over the 14 years of its activity, the school has trained more than 800 winners of international, 317 republican, 321 regional, 161 city level subject Olympiads.

For achievements in the Olympiads, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan repeatedly awarded the school the title of «Best Olympic School of the Republic of Kazakhstan» in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and in 2016 «Best Olympic School among NIS».

NIS Taldykorgan students have been successfully implementing social projects aimed at serving society for 12 years. The students teach Kazakh and English languages to the children of the Ainalayyn orphanage, the Baterek regional rehabilitation center, the regional boarding school for the hearing-impaired learners and to the students of rural schools named after M.Mametova, E. Berlikozhauly.

Students show themselves to be active volunteers: they build booths for stray dogs, help large and low-income families, pensioners, veterans with consumer baskets, and provide support to the Mother's House and the Children’s Home in every possible way.

Since 2010, 866 students have graduated from the school. Of these, 200 enrolled in Nazarbayev University, 160 in foreign universities in the USA, Russia, Germany, Turkey, South Korea, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and China.

The school has 819 students, 111 teachers, and 3 foreign teachers. The school has a dormitory for nonresident students.
