Приют надежды
“Shelter of Hope” is a social project that has existed for the 8th year (since 2015). At the moment, the project involves 7 coordinators and 8 permanent participants - animal volunteers.
Goal: to attract the attention of the school community to the problems of homeless animals in Taldykorgan through holding events, delivering leftover food from the school canteen, and collecting dry food.
Volunteers strive to instill an understanding of the importance of caring for animals, change the worldview of the school community, involving primary and secondary school students and staff in their events and actions.
Every day, students and their parents brought leftover food from the school canteen. During the pandemic, collection was carried out by coordinators and they transported food and leftover food from volunteers’ homes on their own.
Events are held annually to collect food/donations for homeless animals.
The Shelter of Hope is currently actively cooperating with the ZOO Club of Taldykorgan.
