The Christmas tree of Goodness was held within the walls of NIS

An inclusive New Year tree was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of the city of Taldykorgan for pupils of the Ainalayyn Orphanage, a boarding school for Hearing Impaired and Deaf Children, the public association “Regional Society of Persons with Disabilities of the Zhetisu Region”, and the rural school of M. Mametova in the village of Shymyr. This wonderful event was organized by the school government with the support of NIS parents.

The event became a real holiday for 100 little guests who were able to plunge into the atmosphere of magic and joy. Parents, mentors, and curators came to support them. Fairy-tale characters, musicians, as well as Father Frost and the Snow Maiden performed at the Christmas tree.

Within the walls of NIS Taldykorgan, a number of social projects to serve society have been actively implemented for 13 years. Students of the Intellectual School teach children English and Kazakh languages.

— Every year, with the support of our parents, we hold a Christmas tree of Goodness for our students on social projects. This time we collected 137 New Year's bags. At the same time, the guys also congratulated the Mother’s Home, the Child’s Home and the Baiterek Rehabilitation Center,” commented Deputy Director for Educational Work Shynar Bazilbekova.

The stars of the festive event were girls from a boarding school for Hearing Impaired and Deaf Children. They performed a colorful dance number.

“We are very glad that we were able to participate in this holiday,” one of the participants shared. “It was incredibly fun and we were able to make a lot of friends here!”

This approach to organizing events not only creates a festive atmosphere, but also strengthens friendships, showing that kindness and support are important to each of us.
