Sanjar Shabdarov, a graduate of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Taldykorgan, is building a career at Samsung Electronics.

After graduating from Nazarbayev University, he continued his studies at Korea's leading technical university, KAIST. Today he is a chip development engineer at Samsung in Hwaseong, South Korea.

As Sanzhar says, he has been interested in computers since school. He was always interested in learning programming languages, creating applications and websites. Based on my hobbies, I set out to become a programmer, but I chose electrical and computer engineering at Nazarbayev University.

During his school years, the talented developer was always drawn to technical disciplines. He liked mathematics, physics, computer science. And at the same time, he received not only academic knowledge, but also soft skills that help him build a successful career.

One of the NIS values is cooperation and openness. So for Sanzhar, communication with his classmates, friends, maintaining friendly, respectful relationships helps him to be in harmony with himself.

To achieve success both in school and at work, as Sanzhar noted, self-discipline and a very strong desire to achieve something more in life help. Like, for example, working in the best companies in the world.

— Today I am a chip engineer at Samsung Electronics. Together with my team, I created a small model of the chip that will be used in future versions of Samsung, I was told, Galaxy S27,” Sanzhar shared about the first successes.

And at the same time, now our graduate is focused on enjoying his life path.

— It is extremely important to have a goal in life, but you cannot ignore other aspects in life. Man is imperfect. There is always something that can be improved and something that can be learned. It is important not only to love your present self, but also to continue to become better for the sake of your loved ones and for the sake of the future,” summarized Sanzhar Shabdarov, a graduate of NIS in the city of Taldykorgan.
