English teachers of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taldykorgan Assel Menlibaeva and Ainur Rysbaeva took part in the international conference ECER 2024, which annually brings together thousands of researchers in the field of education from around the world.

This year the ECER (European Conference on Educational Research) conference took place in Cyprus. More than 2,000 participants from 70 countries arrived in Nicosia to present the experiences of their countries.

Teacher of the Intellectual School Ainur Rysbaeva made a report “The views and experience of teachers of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in mutual attendance of lessons and the influence of this process on their professional development.”

— I worked on this research for several years. The school's culture of professional growth, support, and the benefits of learning new strategies created positive attitudes toward peer attendance among teachers. This method helped solve the problem of preparing a lesson’s self-analysis, developing the ability to examine one’s activities, determine the effectiveness of one’s work, create motives, needs and opportunities for restructuring and improving the educational process,” shared Ainur Rysbaeva.

Asel Menlibekova, an English teacher at the Intellectual School, also presented her research on leadership practices and strategies in the implementation of inclusive education. She also won a scholarship from EERA.
