Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taldykorgan continues social initiatives

Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taldykorgan has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Center for Active Longevity. This center, which opened last year, has become a real godsend for pensioners, providing them with the opportunity to play sports, participate in excursions and find new hobbies for free. Within the framework of the new memorandum, it is planned to implement a social project that will be a continuation of NIS' long-term cooperation with 12 specialized organizations and communities. NIS students actively participate in educational initiatives, teaching English and Kazakh languages, conducting classes in mathematics, robotics and pottery. They also organize charity events, fairs, educational contests and quizzes, which makes their work not only useful, but also fascinating. Special attention is paid to the Urpaktar Sabaktastygy project, in which the older generation shares their wisdom and knowledge, and young people spend exciting leisure time for them. This interaction creates a unique atmosphere of mutual understanding and support. "We are very pleased to work with educated, talented and motivated young people. It's nice to talk to them. Today, they held workshops for us on pottery, felting, collecting puzzles and creating decorative items from napkins. The connection between generations must be preserved," Mnavar Makhmutova, a participant in the Center for Active Longevity, shared her impressions. Thus, the new cooperation between the Nazarbayev Intellectual School and the Center for Active Longevity opens up new horizons for joint creativity and strengthening intergenerational ties, which will certainly enrich the lives of both young people and the elderly in our society.
