The project "Developing the potential of support schools in rural areas", which is aimed at improving the quality of education in remote regions, continues to be implemented. This project is supported by Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, which play a key role in broadcasting modern educational practices and techniques. This time, teachers of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taldykorgan held a training seminar for rural schools in Panfilovsky, Alakolsky and Koksu districts. Within the framework of the seminar, lessons of the natural-mathematical cycle were demonstrated, which allowed participants to familiarize themselves with new approaches to learning. The seminar participants could observe various forms and types of work with students in the classroom. For example, in a chemistry lesson conducted by Raushan Shentemirova, laboratory classes for grades 9 on the topic "Halogen reaction" were demonstrated. We saw the creation of criteria for smart goals, the very structure of the lesson is consistent. The goals are set by the students themselves. Forming smart goals has been very useful for me," said Anna Filimonova, a teacher at the A.Baytursinova secondary school in the Alakolsky district. We attended several lessons and received a huge amount of information. We learned about new ways to update our knowledge, and we saw feedback from students on this scheme," said Karlygash Abylbekova, a secondary school teacher at A.Baitursynova in the Alakol district. The project "Developing the potential of support schools in rural areas" not only helps to improve the skills of teachers, but also creates a platform for the exchange of experience between teachers, which in turn has a positive impact on the educational process as a whole. Supporting niches in this area is an important step towards improving the quality of education in rural areas.
