Trade Fair: The choice is for the youth

A trade fair was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Taldykorgan, which became an important event for students and their parents. This event provided a unique opportunity for students to get acquainted with various specialties and get an idea of future career paths. The fair was attended by representatives of many professions, including civil engineers, researchers of the Dzhungar-Alatau Nature Reserve, lawyers, architects, designers, paramedics, military personnel, banking service employees and entrepreneurs. Each of them shared their experiences, talking about the intricacies of their work, the necessary skills and prospects in their chosen field. "The meeting with representatives of various fields had a significant impact on the choice of specialty. The opportunity to communicate directly with professionals, ask questions and get advice has helped many of us better understand which profession is closer and what steps need to be taken to achieve our goals. For example, I am very interested in the military sphere," commented 11th grade student Aisultan Auelbai. Anel Zhomartkyzy, a student of the 11th grade noted: "I've been hesitating between IT and engineering for a long time. But after talking to an engineering specialist, I realized that this is exactly what I want to do. I got a lot of useful information and confidence in my choice." The Year of Working Professions in Kazakhstan highlights the importance of vocational education and training of young people to meet the demands of the modern labor market. Events such as the trade fair contribute to the formation of an informed approach to choice among schoolchildren, to the formation of a new generation of qualified specialists who are ready for the challenges of the modern world.
