Modern technologies open up new horizons for the effective modernization of the education system. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has repeatedly stressed the need to develop the educational sector in accordance with the best international standards. In this context, the visit of the Nazarbayev Administration of the Taldykorgan Intellectual School to the UK was an important step towards achieving these goals. Viktor Sosin, the school's director, and Nazgul Shaimerdenova, his deputy for Scientific and Methodological Work, participated in the seminar "Integrating Practical Research for the development of educational practice at the school and classroom levels", which was held at Bottisham Village College, an 80-year—old secondary school located in Cambridge County. The mission of this school, "Achievement through inspiration, caring and enrichment," reflects an approach that truly inspires students and helps them develop. The visit was aimed at achieving several key goals that are consistent with the principles of Action Research.: Exploring concepts in a new context: The seminar participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with four main concepts used in British educational practice, which allowed them to expand their understanding and adapt these ideas to local conditions. Improving teaching and learning: A discussion of the methods and approaches used at Bottisham Village College provided an opportunity for participants to identify effective strategies that can be implemented in their own schools. Using Action Research: The application of Action Research methods to improve the educational process became the central theme of the workshop. Participants explored how systematic research into their practice can lead to significant learning improvements. Creating an enabling environment: An important aspect of the workshop was the discussion of creating a supportive and inspiring educational environment, which is a key factor for successful learning. Leadership in change and development: The seminar participants gained valuable knowledge on how to become leaders of change in their schools by implementing innovative approaches and practices. Exploring a different culture: Immersion in the British educational system gave participants the opportunity to see how another culture copes with the challenges of corporate education, which can be useful for further developing their own practices. Gaining experience for reflection: The workshop participants were able not only to gain new knowledge, but also to reflect on how these ideas could be applied in their own educational contexts. Connection with the school's own development: An important outcome of the visit was the realization of how the acquired knowledge and experience can be integrated into the development strategy of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School. The trip to the UK and participation in the seminar was an important step in the exchange of experience. Applying the principles of Action Research will help create a more effective and inspiring educational environment for future generations.
