In the libraries of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, advanced practices from school libraries in the USA, Finland, and South Korea are being implemented. School libraries are acquiring a new identity—open and appealing to the reader.

The library collection of the school library is formed in accordance with the NIS Programme, taking into account the analysis of the publishing market and international experience in library collection development. This is to provide students and teachers of the Intellectual Schools with literature and electronic databases that meet all the requirements of the modern educational process.When forming the collections, several factors are taken into consideration: the needs of the school curriculum, the age and language characteristics of the students, and reader preferences. The total book collection comprises 27,075 copies of educational, methodological, fiction, additional literature, and periodicals.
