The 80th anniversary of Markhabat Baygut was celebrated at the NIS school in Shymkent

Markhabat Baygut, a prominent figure in Kazakh literature, renowned writer, and public figure, celebrated his 80th anniversary at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of the Chemistry-Biology Track in Shymkent.
As part of the anniversary, the "Reader's Family" reading club was officially opened within the framework of the NIS "In the Circle of Books" project. Literary evenings, discussions, and special exhibitions dedicated to the writer's work were also organized.
Students and parents discussed Markhabat Baygut's work "The Orphanage Boy," sharing thoughts on national identity, moral values, and social realities, while analyzing the writer's literary legacy. The event was hosted by journalist and writer Galymzhan Elshibay.
The project was held with the aim of engaging young people in literature and promoting works that have become part of the golden collection of Kazakh literature.
