A new director has been appointed at NIS KhBN Shymkent.

There have been changes in leadership at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemical and Biological Sciences in Shymkent. By the decision of the Board of the AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools", Laura Serikbolovna Baitokayeva was appointed to the post of director. Deputy Chairman of the Board Sabyrzhan Saduakasov introduced the new head of the school staff. Laura Serikbolovna began her career in 20007 as an English teacher at the school for gifted children "Murager" with instruction in three languages. In 2011, she was appointed Head of Academic Affairs, in 2012 she temporarily served as Head of Science. From 2013 to 2016, she worked at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kyzylorda as an English teacher. From 2016 to 2020, she worked at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktau as an English teacher, was the head of the methodological association of English teachers, in 2020 she was appointed deputy director for scientific and methodological work. Since 2023, she has worked at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Turkestan as Deputy director for scientific and methodological work.
