Today, our school hosted a Socratic seminar among 9th-grade students as part of the “100 Books” project. The main focus of the event was the discussion of the classic work of world literature — The Little Prince.

During the seminar, students explored the book’s central idea, the author’s philosophical reflections, the symbolic meaning of the characters, and significant moments in the storyline. Participants listened to each other’s perspectives, asked questions, and deepened the discussion, allowing them to understand the book from multiple angles.

The discussion of The Little Prince gave students a strong boost in developing critical thinking, literary analysis, and the ability to express their opinions freely. It also increased their interest in reading and encouraged them to reflect on important life values.
