As part of our school’s annual traditional festival, a unique culinary competition was held, dedicated to the works and characters featured in the project “100 Books Recommended for Students of Intellectual Schools.”
Participants were given pre-baked sponge layers and cake bases, from which they had to create edible “book cakes” that reflected the plot and characters of selected literary works.
The jury evaluated each entry based on taste and visual appeal, arriving at the following results:
1st place – Grade 7 “H”, Marat Kabanbay (“Brother”)
2nd place – Grade 7 “G”, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (“The Little Prince”)
3rd place – Grade 7 “L”, Oralkhan Bokeev (“My Grandma’s Basin”)
The most delicious and beautifully decorated cake was recognized as the festival’s highlight, inspiring students toward creativity and fostering a love for reading.
