In February and March, various sports competitions were held among school students in the city. Our students took part and demonstrated impressive skills and performance.

At the rapid chess tournament featuring 156 participants from Shymkent city and Turkistan region, our students achieved outstanding results.
Among grades 9–11, the students who won 2nd place are:
• Zangar Kamytbek
• Magzhan Koilybai
• Temirlan Aidar
• Amina Serikbai
• Inkar Shayakhmet

Among grades 7–8, the 1st place winners are:
• Nurislam Dzhusipbekov
• Asylmurat Senkibai
• Bakbergen Satybaldy
• Aidana Aidar

Notably, Aidana Aidar won all 9 games out of 9 and was recognized as the best player of the tournament.

In addition, at the national basketball tournament organized by the Education Department's Methodological Center and the National Scientific and Practical Center for Physical Education of the Ministry of Education, the NIS boys’ basketball team took 2nd place.
