The Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Shymkent witnessed an important event at the beginning of 2024 - the CYMUN (Young Model United Nations of Kazakhstan) conference, which brought together young diplomats and future leaders. This event not only became an important experience that took place within the framework of the educational platform, but also expanded the attitude of young people to world problems and stimulated them to make decisions at the global level.

CYMUN is an annual conference where schoolchildren in the UN format discuss issues and express their opinions on various countries around the world. This year, the theme of the forum was "global cooperation and the preservation of peace: responsibility for the future." This topic allowed young people to understand important world-class problems and apply creative approaches to their solution.

The opening ceremony of the conference was held in the school's auditorium. On this day, all participants solemnly assumed their delegate roles. Graduates and students, modeling the UN structure, participated in debates and shared their views on making important decisions regarding the political, economic and social conditions of each country. Each delegate spoke on behalf of his country and proposed constructive approaches to solving global problems.

Active discussions and constructive debates among young people deepened the essence of this event and increased the participants' ability to think globally. Each delegate defended the position of their country, this experience aroused their interest in international relations, and honed their skills of openly and reliably expressing their opinions.

By holding such events, the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Shymkent allows its students to think about the most pressing problems in the world and be active in solving them. The CYMUN conference is not only an educational platform, but also a real platform aimed at developing the communication skills of young leaders.
