Teachers from Shymkent-Abai NIS participated in the 13th International Conference of School as Learning Community, where they presented their research work in an online session.

Mathematics teacher G.A. Kenenbayeva and physics teachers S.A. Zhalmakhanova, A.A. Kenenbayeva, and Zh.R. Abdikerova shared the results of their research based on classroom practice.

The conference is a prestigious international educational platform that annually brings together around 2,000 participants from more than 30 countries. This year’s conference was hosted by Gakushuin University in Japan.

Title of the presented paper:
“Teachers Learning from Students’ Analytical Thinking through Problem-Solving in Physics and Mathematics Classrooms.”

The research explored how problem-solving activities in physics and mathematics classrooms help develop students’ analytical thinking, as well as how teachers can learn from students’ reasoning processes.

During the online session, the teachers engaged in professional discussions with an international audience and received positive feedback on their presentation.
