WiNIS Team Wins Turkistan Robotics & Drones Championship–2026

The WiNIS team, composed of students from Shymkent-Abai NIS, won first place in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge (FLL) category at the Turkistan Robotics & Drones Championship–2026, achieving the highest score and setting a new world record.

During the competition, the students designed and programmed an autonomous LEGO robot, successfully completed complex missions, and confidently defended their research project. The young engineers demonstrated outstanding knowledge, creativity, and teamwork.

The champions who represented the school in the 10–16 age category are:

• Yeshanqul Zhansultan
• Zhumakhan Miras
• Dauletbai Dinmukhamed
• Omarbek Nurdaulet
