NIS Shymkent-Abai Students Achieve Success at the International STEM Olympiad

The International STEM Olympiad was held in Astana, bringing together over 250 participants and 85 teams from 6 countries in the field of engineering ideas and technological innovations. Four teams from 12 students of NIS Shymkent-Abai participated in the competition.

Results:

• The «Infinity» team ranked 5th among all 85 teams.

The remaining three teams were awarded certificates and invitations to participate in next year’s Olympiad:

• «Samgau» team – Supervisor: Zhalmakhanova Saltanat; Participants: Zhaksylykova Tomiris, Zhangaibay Dana, Orazmbet Begayim

• «Nerds» team – Supervisor: Mahmutov Rakhim; Participants: Omarqul Erkebulan, Tabyldan Eren, Namiyash Aybol

• «Revolution» team – Supervisor: Kenenbayeva Aynur; Participants: Tasbolatov Azamat, Taubay Nursultan, Alimbetov Isatay
