From February 13 to 15, 2025, six students from Grade 11 proudly represented NIS Semey at the annual MUN Conference organized by Georgetown University in Doha, the capital of Qatar. The conference attracted around 1,200 participants from 27 international schools.

This experience was not only an academic challenge for the students but also an important step in their personal growth. They learned how to negotiate, defend their positions, and collaborate in teams with representatives from different countries. Each session and discussion deepened their understanding of global problems and the ways to address them.

However, the most valuable part of the experience was the people. The students met like-minded individuals from around the world, exchanged experiences and ideas, made new friends, and strengthened connections with young people from different cultures and nationalities.
