19 February 2025 17:00

On February 18, a cross-cultural literary discussion was held for students from different countries. The event discussed two works representing the cultural traditions of Kazakhstan and India: the Kazakh fairy tale “Yer Tostik” and the Indian book “Panchatantra”.

The event began with a welcome speech, during which the participants were presented with the goals and objectives of the meeting. After that, the students introduced their schools: Semei NISH and PM SHRI KV Kanjikode School. This was followed by presentations of the literary works. First, the Kazakh students spoke about the fairy tale “Yer Tostik”, emphasizing its cultural significance and the important moral lessons it conveys. The Indian students then introduced the participants to the work “Panchatantra”, explaining its meaning and influence on Indian literature.

Each presentation was followed by a discussion, during which participants asked questions and shared their views on the works presented. The event concluded with a general feedback session, where participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to discuss literature from different countries and emphasized the importance of such cultural exchanges.

This event was an important step in strengthening international cooperation between educational institutions and allowed students and teachers to gain a deeper understanding of each other's cultural traditions. We hope for the continuation of such meetings and the further development of mutual ties!
