Diana Moldybekova, an eighth-grade student at Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Semey, has received copyright registration for two works exploring the history of women’s leadership in Kazakhstan and the preservation of the legacy of outstanding women.
The first work is a research paper entitled “The History of Women’s Leadership and the Development of Gender Equality in Kazakhstan: 15th–21st Centuries.” It examines women’s socio-political, cultural, and educational contributions at different stages of the country’s history, as well as the evolution of their social rights and roles in society.
Building on this research, Diana developed an interactive trilingual encyclopedia entitled “Great Women of Kazakhstan” in collaboration with her academic advisor, Bakhytgul Akasheva. This digital project brings together historical and biographical information about outstanding Kazakhstani women who have made significant contributions to politics, science, art, and culture. Available in three languages, the encyclopedia enables readers to explore their lives and achievements, making this historical legacy accessible to a wider audience.
Both works aim to preserve historical memory, highlight the achievements of outstanding women, and encourage young people to take a greater interest in the history of Kazakhstan. They also demonstrate how a student’s research can evolve into an independent intellectual product that combines historical scholarship with modern digital technologies.
Congratulations to Diana Moldybekova and her academic advisor, Bakhytgul Akasheva, on this achievement! We wish them continued success and many more discoveries in their future research.
