Talented Students from Semey Shine at International Technology Event

The annual international computer project competition Infomatrix-Asia was held in the capital. This year, more than 3,000 students from around the world participated, with only the top 600 advancing to the finals. During the in-person stage, over 250 teams from 10 countries presented their projects.

Students from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Semey achieved impressive results: Gulim Suleimen, Kairkhan Slyamkhan, and Akhezhan Askar won second place in the AI Hackathon; Aizere Sultangazina earned second place in the Applied Science category; and Aizere Muratkyzy and Raushan Ruslankyzy took third place in the Short Movie category.

Following the competition, the Semey students were also awarded an educational grant from the Gumarbek Daukeev Almaty University of Energy and Communications.
