Students in grades 9–12 at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Semey achieved outstanding results in the final stages of the national Olympiad in computer science, mathematics, physics, and biology, held in Kostanay and Astana.

NIS Semey students became prize winners in several subjects:
Akezhan Askar – 1st place in Computer Science
Alikhan Taskynbaev – 1st place in Biology
Arnur Nurgazin – 2nd place in Computer Science
Malika Akan – 3rd place in Physics

Students who achieved top results will be included in the national Olympiad reserve team and will have the opportunity to represent Kazakhstan at international academic competitions.
