A workshop titled “Modern School Laboratory: Practical Skills for Teachers” was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Semey for teachers participating in the national Keleshek Mektepteri project. The event brought together teachers of physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, robotics, and STEAM subjects.

As part of the Keleshek Mektepteri project, ten new schools of a modern format have recently been commissioned in the Abai region. The workshop aimed to provide methodological support for teachers and to facilitate the effective integration of laboratory infrastructure into the educational process of these schools.

Teachers from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School, along with specialists from the Center for Pedagogical Excellence, presented practical cases on laboratory use, the integration of artificial intelligence in education, lesson effectiveness analysis and reflection, as well as vertical and horizontal planning. Teachers from the partner schools also shared their experience.

During the practical session, participants worked on differentiating tasks, individualizing learning trajectories, and complying with laboratory safety requirements.
