The 18th Presidential Olympiad in natural sciences and mathematics for 11th and 12th grade students has concluded in Astana. Among the strongest participants in this national intellectual competition, Nurali Baybotaev, a 12th-grade student at our school, delivered an impressive performance and won a bronze medal.
This year, the Olympiad brought together 201 students from all regions of the country. The competition consisted of three stages — regional, qualifying, and final — each of which presented significant challenges and required participants to demonstrate deep theoretical knowledge and strong practical skills.
Students from the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools network once again showed excellent results: out of 18 NIS participants, 15 became prize winners.
A distinctive feature of the Olympiad is that participants are evaluated in four subjects simultaneously. According to the Olympiad regulations, 25% of participants received diplomas and valuable gifts from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
