NIS Teachers at the WALS 2025 International Conference

The World Association of Lesson Studies (WALS 2025) international conference was held in Hiroshima, Japan, bringing together educators and researchers from around the world. Among the participants were teachers from NIS Semey, who presented their research projects on the international stage.
WALS is considered one of the most authoritative platforms for sharing pedagogical experience, discussing current issues in education, and promoting innovative approaches to teaching.
NIS Semey teachers addressed an international audience, presenting the results of their research aimed at improving the quality of education. The participants included:
Ainur Bodeeva – Russian language teacher
Zamzagul Orazgalieva – biology teacher
Anastasia Barkova – English language teacher
Anar Tayapbergenova – computer science teacher
Anar Sovetova – biology teacher
Dinara Chkambaeva – mathematics teacher
Dinara Gabdullina – mathematics teacher
Saltanat Ertuganova – Russian language teacher
Saltanat Alimgazieva – English language teacher
The conference program featured 249 presentations by Kazakhstani teachers, one of the highest numbers among all participating countries. Of these, 85 studies were presented by teachers from Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, and 13 presentations were delivered by experts from the NIS Center for Pedagogical Excellence.
