An international forum titled “International Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Education” was held in the capital of the People’s Republic of China, where participants discussed pressing issues related to the integration of technology into the education system. Among the participants were representatives of educational institutions from Brazil, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan. Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Semey was represented at the event by Madi Izmailov.

The forum took place as part of a short-term educational program titled “International Talent Development Base”, organized by the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). Participants visited the BIT campus and became acquainted with the work of its scientific and innovation laboratories.

During the visit, bilateral meetings were held with the leadership of BIT and UIBE to discuss issues of academic mobility and the admission of graduates. As a result of the negotiations, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Semey and the Beijing Institute of Technology—one of China’s leading engineering and research universities.

Additionally, participants of the program visited Hepingjie No. 1 School and Cheng Jinlun School in Beijing, where they exchanged experiences and discussed modern approaches to teaching.

“This visit not only strengthened educational ties between Kazakhstan and China but also opened new opportunities for our students to pursue international education,” — noted Madi Izmailov.

It is worth mentioning that the BIT campus in Zhuhai offers an English-taught bachelor’s program in Artificial Intelligence, one of the most in-demand specializations in today’s world.
