The best in debates

On September 20–21, 2025, the Republican Debate Tournament was held at Shakarim University, where students from NIS Semey claimed victory.

Our school students - Aisultan Murzagazin, Aizat Slyam, and Aruzhan Muzdybay demonstrated outstanding results in the English league and were awarded first-degree diplomas.

The tournament brought together winners of city and regional competitions from the 2024–2025 academic year across all regions of the country. A total of 60 teams, comprising 180 school students from general education institutions and supplementary education centers, took part in the event.

The debates were organized by the Republican Educational and Methodological Center for Supplementary Education under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with the Daryn Scientific and Methodological Center for Giftedness and Supplementary Education of the Abai Region.
