Under one shanyrak: students united in spirit and action

12 September 2025 17:45

Our school held a shanyrak hour entitled “Shanyrak – bereke bastauy.” This academic year, 15 shanyraks, whose motto is unity and friendship, will work closely together and actively participate in school life. At today's event, participants presented the emblems and mottos of each shanyrak, as well as shared their plans and projects that they intend to implement in the near future.

For students in grades 8-11, the shanyrak hour was held as part of the mandatory projects “Serving the Community” and “Mentoring.” Throughout the year, eighth graders will work on socially significant, cultural, and environmental initiatives aimed at solving pressing problems. Eleventh graders will act as mentors to support the development and implementation of these projects. This creates a strong bond between generations and contributes to the development of leadership qualities in high school students, as well as the formation of an active civic position in younger participants.

At the end of the school year, the shanyrak who has been most active in sports, intellectual, cultural, and charitable activities will be awarded the “Orken Cup” and receive a ticket to the “Tugan Elge Tagzym” research expedition.

Shanyrak in the school environment is not just a symbol of unity, but a real platform for the formation of leadership qualities, civic maturity, and the strengthening of school spirit.
